Hyderabad, Dec. 28: Andhra Congress MLA P. Janardhan Reddy today died of a heart attack after he complained of uneasiness and collapsed at a party meeting in Secunderabad, reports our special correspondent.
The legislator from Khairatabad in Hyderabad was taken to the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences where doctors tried to resuscitate him. Reddy, 59, was diabetic and had kidney and heart ailments.
A veteran trade union leader, Reddy was considered hostile to chief minister Y.S.R. Reddy as he differed with him on a host of issues relating to a separate Telengana state.
