Ahmedabad, Nov 27; 02.15 PM (PTI): The Indian Cricket League has called of today's Twenty20 World Series League match between Bangladesh and Pakistan in the wake of the terror attacks in Mumbai and said the decision on the rest of the tournament will be taken by the evening.
”Today's match between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been cancelled in view of the deadly Mumbai terror attacks,” ICL Executive Board member and tournament director Kiran More told PTI.
The former India stumper added that the overseas players are little disturbed by the developments and the a decision on the remainder of the tournament will be taken after taking into consideration all possible sides of the scenario.
”The ICL board members are all arriving here by afternoon and we will have a detailed meeting on the issue and come to a decision on the rest of the tournament by the evening,” he said.
The ICL T20 World Series is at its fag end and was scheduled to conclude on Saturday, with just two league matches, considered as virtual semi-finals, and the final remaining.
