New Delhi, March 10 :    New Delhi, March 10:  The Delhi High Court today directed the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MP Shibu Soren to surrender ?forthwith? before the trial court in the Shashi Nath Jha murder case. Jha was Soren?s secretary and business partner. Justice J.B. Goel, who had granted interim bail to the Jharkhand MP on November 19, today dismissed his anticipatory bail plea. Soren is facing trial for allegedly murdering his personal secretary-cum-business associate Shashi Nath Jha. The judge made it clear that the accused should surrender before the trial court while rejecting the bail application and vacating the interim bail granted earlier. The court also rejected his application for a 10-day leave to file a special leave petition (SLP) against the High Court order before the Supreme Court. Soren has been apprehending immediate arrest by the CBI and moved an application before the High Court seeking a direction to the investigating agency for at least two weeks and grant 10 days to file the SLP. This plea was also rejected. Soren also moved another petition in the High Court seeking to quash the charges framed against him by the special trial court on March 7. This will come up for hearing tomorrow. Irrespective of the outcome of this petition, Soren has to surrender before special judge Ajit Bharihoke who has already fixed March 22, 23 and 24 for recording of evidence.
