MARITAL MESS: Highway lead pair Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Koel Mallick at the film’s music launch at Story, Elgin Road. Directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay, Highway revolves around a married couple (Koel and Parambrata) who are going through a rough patch. Anupam Roy has scored the music for seven songs in Highway. Shilajit, Arijit Singh, Ujjaini, Tanya Sen, Prashmita Paul and Anupam have sung for the film. Produced by Surinder Films, Highway hits screens on August 8.

PAST CONTINUOUS: Roopa Ganguly and Sayani, seen here at Princeton Club, play mom-daughter in Souvik Mitra’s Punascho, which hits screens on August 8. Punascho, the story of a special day in the life of Roopa, stars Soumitra Chatterjee as her friend from the past.

JUST MARRIED: He loves her. She hates him. And they tie the knot! Paoli Dam and Indraneil Sengupta play Akansha and Debasish in Swarup Ghosh’s debut film Tobu Aparichito. “There’s a reason why Akansha marries Debasish. It’s a love story with various twists and turns,” said Paoli. Kharaj Mukherjee plays a broker.
