Tanya Hope, a well-known face across Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries, will make her Bollywood debut with a dance number in Aayush Sharma’s recently announced action thriller AS04.
Aayush shared a teaser of the action thriller on his social media yesterday on his 32nd birthday.
“The song we danced to is a banger and I can’t wait for the audiences to hear it. The great Jani master has choreographed this track. We really enjoyed shooting. Without a doubt, this song is going to be the next banger at all the weddings,” said Tanya about her dance number in the Bollywood movie.
The Bangalore-born actress showed her support for Bollywood’s remake culture. “I acted in a Tamil remake of the Bollywood film Vicky Donor. In this movie — Dharla Prabhu — I played the character portrayed by Yami Gautam in the Hindi version. I personally believe that if the film is good, there’s no harm in remaking it in another language.”
The model-turned-actress found her first big break in 2015 after she won the FBB Femina Miss India Kolkata. She made her acting debut in 2016’s Telugu film Appatlo Okadundevadu. Tanya then went on to venture into various Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films such as Thadam, Dharala Prabhu, Disco Raja and Home Minister.
