Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday thanked the cast and crew of Jawan, including director Atlee and co-actor Vijay Sethupathi, for their efforts in making the film, days after a preview of the upcoming action thriller received a thunderous response.
Calling Jawan director Atlee “da man”, Shah Rukh wrote, “Sirrrrrr!!! Maaasssssss!! You are da man!!!! Thank u for everything. Love u all (sic).”
The actor then went on to thank the film’s antagonist, Vijay Sethupathi, for teaching him Tamil and bringing delicious food to the sets.
“Sir an honour to work with you. Thanks for teaching me a bit of Tamil on the sets & the delicious food u got. Love u Nanba,” he wrote.
Dance choreographer Shobi Paulraj, fondly known as Shobi Master, was also lauded by Shah Rukh for making him dance like a “cool hero”.
“Thank u @shobimaster for making me dance like a cool hero. Please give my love to your whole team. I tried my best….” the Pathaan star wrote on Twitter.
The series of thank-you tweets from the actor also featured a tweet dedicated to actor-comedian Sunil Grover. “Thank u my ‘Guthi’ too much fun having u on this journey. You are so good in the film! Love u.”
In response to composer Anirudh Ravichander's Tweet, he wrote, “Love you to the moon ( because it can be seen only at night) and back beta. Will miss our Vampire nights!!”
Shah Rukh also responded to cinematographer GK Vishnu’s Tweet and thanked him for making him “look nice even bald”.
He concluded by expressing his gratitude towards the co-producer of the film, Gaurab Verma.
Jawan is all set to release in theatres on September 7. Alongside Shah Rukh and Sethupathi, the film also features Nayanthara in an important role and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. The film is touted to be a high-octane action thriller.
