Pankaj Tripathi will play antagonist to Hrithik Roshan’s portrayal of Anand Kumar in Super 30.
This will be Tripathi’s return as the anti-hero after a hiatus from the genre and exploring other roles.
The actors would be working in the same film for the second time with this. The last time they were seen together was in the 2012 film Agneepath, where Tripathi played the sidekick to Sanjay Dutt’s Kaancha Cheena.
Speaking of his role in Super 30, Tripathi said: “My character in Super 30 is negative with a very quirky sense of humour. The character has a lot of spontaneity and it was a lot of fun playing him because of that. Working with Hrithik is always a great experience because he is a brilliant actor and an equally superb human being. Owing to the fact that I know Hrithik and we have worked together in the past, there’s a comfort level that we share.”
