A day before the Lit Fest began, Sundeep Bhutoria of Calcutta, who was also one of the speakers at JLF, organised a kite-flying party for delegates and other guests on the lawns of ITC Rajputana, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Other than trying their hand at fun activities like kite-flying, pottery and rifle-shooting, guests were treated to an array of Rajasthani snacks, from golgappa and mirch bada to hot jalebis and til sweets, washed down with masala chai.

In the background, traditional artistes showcased the folk arts of Rajasthan, like trapeze, acrobatics, music, dance, puppeteering, magic and more.
