Second romance: Five years ago in Tarun Majumdar’s Chander Bari, he had played a jobless youth in love with a college girl from his para. Cut to 2012 — Soham and Koel Mallick have got back together as lovebirds in Raja Chanda’s Janemon. “Our roles in Janemon are very different from the ones we played in Chander Bari,” says Koel, back home after shooting a few song sequences in Switzerland. “In Janemon, I play a vulnerable girl and Soham is this rough-and-tough boy.... We had loads of fun shooting in Switzerland. It was my third trip to the picture-postcard country after Paglu and 100 % Love, and I don’t mind going there again and again and again!” she laughs. Team Janemon shot in Switzerland’s Bern, Interlaken and Fribourg. “There was so much greenery all around and the meadows were so beautiful that I was mesmerised. We have never shot in Switzerland in summer, so it was great fun!” chirps Koel. Produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, Janemon is slated to release in May-end.
