Shantanu started his journey as a Software Professional, eventually became Leadership Guru and Global Speaker on Project Management as well as contributed to many Global Standards of Project Management Institute (PMI) USA.
However, at his heart Bollywood was always there, hence he did dance classes from Shiamak Davar Dance Academy in Pune (he knows Bollywood Jazz, Salsa & Freestyle), done classes of synthesizer, done classes of acting & done classes of photography. He practiced theatre for couple of years.
Shantanu Bhamare has been an old friend of Producer Director Rajeev Chaudhari (‘ Beiimaan Love’ fame which starred Sunny Leone ) ! Rajeev and Shantanu became friends in Los Angeles, USA in one of the events, since then, they are in regular touch and have been discussing Bollywood affairs. One fine day Rajeev Ji was sharing about his upcoming Hindi Feature Film called RED on phone, Shantanu got excited about the story and decided to meet Rajeev Ji in Mumbai. Rajeev Ji narrated the story of RED in detail along with Director Ashok Taygi Ji. On-the-spot Shantanu agreed to sign deal and joined RED Team (the feature film starring Krushna Abhishek, Payal Ghosh, Kamlesh Sawant & Shakti Kapoor) as a Co-Producer and an Actor. He has played very significant role of a Jailer against very famous Kamlesh Sawant who is Drishyam fame. This significant role of a Jailer is portrayed by Shantanu is coming up as highlight of the film! Shantanu, being a stage & theatre artist was able to enact this powerful role of a jailer in front of veteran actor Kamlesh Sawant without any retake! Shantanu is going to play significant role in his upcoming Hindi Feature Film Bhagwa under banner of under banner of ‘SSAN Media & Entertainment’. This film is based on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activities. In his childhood, Shantanu enrolled RSS and began visiting its Shakhas. Since Shantanu has enough experience of RSS activities for him playing significant role in Bhagwa would be coming out very natural to the audience.
Under same banner of ‘SSAN Media & Entertainment’ Shantanu is going to play significant role in Hindi Feature Film ‘Sorry Mother’.
