The script required certain additions and this is what forced the producer to push back the date of release. Director Gaurav Chawla will shoot for 10 days with Saif and the other unit members. Saif Ali Khan’s Bazaar has been postponed. The film, which was slotted for a Christmas 2017 release, has now been pushed to March 2018. Amitabh Bachchan and southern superstar Mohanlal have been approached to feature in two different versions of Gumnaam. Producer Jayantilal Gada confirmed to PTI that Big B has been sought to star in the Hindi part, while Mohanlal is in talks to feature in the South version. “We have approached them but they are yet to sign on the dotted lines,” Gada said, clarifying that it’s not a remake of the 1965 suspense-thriller starring Manoj Kumar and Nanda but of a Tamil film. The film will be shot on an island in Mauritius. 


Kapil Sharma fans will watch his mother and sister share screen space in Firangi. Kapil’s mom Janak Rani, sister Pooja Devgan and sister-in-law Muskan Punj will be seen in the song Sajna Sohne Jiha. All three of them had a great time shooting for the dance number with Kapil and neither of them were camera shy despite shooting 
for the first time. Kapil also said it was 
fun for him to have his family on the 
sets, even if only for a special

Prashantt Guptha, known for his character-driven performances in films like Neerja and Issaq, will take on a new role — of a singer. He will showcase his musical prowess by reprising a classic from Baiju Bawra through a cover album, Prashn. The actor intends to draw attention to social issues using classics that he feels are still lyrically relevant. Mohammad Rafi’s evergreen Oh duniya ke rakhwale is the first song in this initiative. Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal’s biopic is the hot topic in Bollywood now and Shraddha Kapoor is on cloud nine for bagging the role. The Haseena Parkar actress is making sure that she leaves no stone unturned in her performance and has been practising under badminton player Prakash Padukone’s brother. Shraddha admits that she met Saina and got some tips for acing the role. “I went to do a reading with Saina and we did 33 sessions which is not even the beginning. I have to meet her a lot more to understand the game. She gave me overall tips and what to keep in mind while playing the game and asked me to attempt every shot with all my strength. I played a few games with her to understand her game.” The actress said Saina did not reveal much about her diet. “I was not given any tips about the diet specifically. Holly heartthrob and new dad George Clooney will return to television in a serialised adaptation of Catch-22, Paramount Television has said. His new venture comes nearly 20 years after he left the hit show ER to become one of Hollywood’s biggest names. Clooney will direct and star in the six-episode series, based on author Joseph Heller's darkly comedic 1961 novel Catch-22 for Viacom Inc’s Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Shooting will start early 2018, the studio said.
