ETV Bangla is all set to get a new look and feel as Colors Bangla. A t2 sneak peek

‘COLORs’ of life: Come April 12 and ETV Bangla will be relaunched as Colors Bangla with a special programme, Tomar Swapner Rong. The show is led by Tolly star Jeet, who will shake a leg to a medley of songs from his film Bachchan before unveiling the logo. “Colors Bangla will add a very different colour to our lives. Hope the journey is a lot of fun!” said Jeet. “Colors is synonymous with unparalleled entertainment and the re-branding is a step towards providing our existing as well as new viewers with superior quality content and an enhanced viewing experience. The ETV general entertainment channels that will undergo the brand transition have been pioneers in regional entertainment. We are launching a new non-fiction musical show called Great Music Gurukul from April 13. In the months to come, more diverse programming will be lined up, which will be a unique blend of Bengali culture and contemporary values,” said Sujay Kutty, channel head, Colors Bangla. Tune into Colors Bangla at 6pm on April 12 for Tomar Swapner Rong. 

Gaurav Chakrabarty and Ridhima, who play Byomkesh Bakshi and Satyabati in Byomkesh on ETV Bangla, walk in holding hands and yes, they look super cute in their character costumes.

Payel De, who plays Durga in the ETV Bangla show Ma Durga, performs to Durga Vandana.

Manali and Suvojit Kar — the lead pair in the mega serial Bhule Jeo Na Please which revolves around short-term memory — dance to Utchhe jege shokal gulo and Chhote chhote shehro se.

Sadhak Bamakhyapa, ETV Bangla’s TRP topper starring Arindam Ganguly in the title role, completes 2,500 episodes in April. Ganguly performs Kali Vandana for the special programme.
