Bonny Sengupta looked dapper in a black striped suit and Koushani Mukherjee dazzled in white. “The response was very good. We included not only our colleagues and people from the industry for the premiere show, but we included the public also so that we could see their reaction. They whistled and clapped. Since it is a commercial film, whenever the hero or heroine entry happened they enjoyed it. As it is a comedy movie, everybody was laughing their hearts out. We made this film thinking of single screen and it hit the right chord for the audience. We feel nice after producing our first film and seeing it on the big screen. It obviously feels different to see our names as producers. We enjoyed the whole experience,” said Bonny and Koushani.
Saurav Das. “First of all kudos to Bonny and Koushani for producing a film at such a time in the Bengali industry. I told Bonny also after watching the film. We are watching so many things globally, it is difficult to walk out of the hall with something to remember. But for Daal Baati Churma, we could do that. The lines by Kharajda (Mukherjee) were amazing and those stayed with me,” said Saurav.
