MIND THE GAP: The wait is finally over! The first outlet of American high-street clothing chain GAP in Calcutta will up shutters at South City Mall on April 13. Spread over 2,450sq ft on the ground floor of the mall, this will be the 13th standalone GAP store in India. “We are excited to announce the launch of our first GAP standalone store in Calcutta. Calcutta is a very important market for us as we’ve seen a demand for the brand through online searches and shopping behaviour. The store will house products across varied price points, catering to the evolving consumers in Calcutta,” said Parag Dani, business head, GAP (India), Arvind Lifestyle Brands.
