EYE SPY: A spring-summer 2018 collection of frames and sunglasses from nine designer brands were up for grabs at Diagram Optics, the eyewear store on AJC Bose Road, as part of Weekend at Diagram Optics, in association with t2.
Fashion designer Agnimitra Paul dropped by on Sunday to take her pick from the collection of eyewear from Emporio Armani, Michael Kors, Guess, Burberry, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Police, Versace and Carolina Herrera. Each weekend has a different theme, the last one being the Designer Weekend, held on March 17 and 18.
The event, spread over three weekends, began on March 10 with the theme ‘Fashion Weekend’ and featured brands like Ray-Ban and Vogue. The next lineup, set to be on display on March 24 and 25, will showcase eyewear from luxury brands like Tom Ford and Bvlgari.
The prices of the eye-catchers range between Rs 2,000 and Rs 2.5 lakh. “Generally people don’t get to see the whole range of particular brands at any store. For the first time in Calcutta, we have been able to arrange the entire spring-summer 2018 collection of the best international brands to be showcased under one roof,” said Ronak Shah, owner, Diagram Optics.
