What: Flo Kolkata Heritage Walkathon for cancer awareness 

Where: Starts and finishes at The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata

When: February 10 

Expect: A walk around some of Calcutta’s heritage spots for the Flo Kolkata members. “I think we are doing something like this for the first time in Calcutta. We wanted to do something different. I walk regularly at The Agri-Horticultural Society of India,” said Flo Kolkata chairperson Sunita Kanoria. The star attraction? Rahul Bose, who is slated to join in.

Playing guide will be Iftekhar Ahsan of Calcutta Walks and his team. “We are talking about the white town that the British created in Dalhousie Square and around… we are going to focus on that and we are going to do a walk of the heritage locations in that zone... it has one of the highest concentrations of colonial-era buildings anywhere in the world,” said Iftekhar. 

Registration: Starts at 5.30am followed by a Zumba session from 6.30am. The walk starts at 7am.
