The latest kid on the Park Street block this year is this 140-cover American-themed restaurant that has more than 100 appetisers and 120 main course dishes! Brickwork on the walls, neon signage with names of American basketball and baseball teams, dining booths… the interiors give you a feel of America in the Sixties.

FABBRICA DELLA PIZZA

This 45-seater pizzeria opened in February and the name means a factory of pizza, literally! The best part? You can customise the pizzas at the live counter and have as many toppings.

The 32-seater cafe in Hindusthan Park is a cosy place for a date. There’s a designated ‘stage’ for jam sessions, poetry slams and stand-up comedy shows. Another cool feature? Each table is fitted with a tablet menu, so no more waiting for servers to take orders!

Comfortable and quirky, this one’s a special cafe run by individuals with special needs who receive training at ICanFlyy, a vocational training institute located in the same building. From pizza and pasta to brownie and French fries — the 24-seater serves up quite a mouthful.

Pop picks: Barbeque Chicken Poppers, Balsamic Mushroom Pizza, Mexican Phuchka, Wai Wai Bhel, Choco Frappe.

Cuisine: Italian, Continental, bakery.

The new cafe has incorporated the superhero theme in the walls and in the lampshades, the table decor and the dishes. There is also a live bakery section at the 41-seater cafe where one can order and watch superhero cakes being made. On a cold winter day, spend some time reading the DC/Marvel encyclopedia available, with a cup of Black Panther’s Hazelnut Cappuccino. Or go for a food date with bae and enjoy the Amazing Spider Web Grilled Chicken Pizza.

Dear Darj came to the city in April with this 30-seater cafe-cum-store from the owners of Nathmulls, and boasts of an English breakfast platter sourced directly from Keventers, Darjeeling. Plus, plenty of brews!

The iconic Park Street restaurant has opened two kiosks — a takeaway kiosk on the ground level and another on the mezzanine floor, where there’s seating arrangement. From pastries and other seasonal desserts to sandwiches, patties and a wide selection of teas — one can opt for quite a mouthful from a menu specially designed for the outlet.
