Diana Penty twirled in this minimal yet striking red silk lehnga with zardozi embroidery, at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat. “Our collection this time is called Sounds of Waves. The organza ruffles are inspired by waves. This is a great outfit to wear to a sangeet or a ring ceremony,” said designers Rishi & Soujit. Tanya found the play of drapes interesting. “You can wear the lehnga with the drape (inset) or without it,” she said. Loose locks and flushed cheeks lent the look a dewy feel.

The Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi actress looks pastel pretty in this baby blue zardozi-embroidered organza lehnga with a raw silk blouse. Rishi & Soujit feel it’s a look suited for the sangeet or reception. “Imagine a lehnga with full work but it’s not heavy to wear! What more can you ask for with Indian clothes?” said Tanya.

A stone-grey zardozi raw silk lehnga with an oxidised touch to the jewel-toned embroidery, paired with an ombre-dyed pre-stitched dupatta. This is for the hatke bride. “You can go for fresh flowers in the hair. The looks are all about alternative bridal fashion for autumn-winter 2018. We are focusing on brides and bridesmaids who want to experiment,” said the designer duo behind the two-year-old label.
