Ingredients for a summery South Indian meal come alive in this salad from the Camac Street eatery menu. Red rice, green mangoes, pomegranate seeds, coconut shreds, peanuts and baby spinach, topped with upmensinkai (chillies soaked in curd) that makes sure there’s a zing in every bite. Rs 240-plus

Spinach leaves are boiled and then shredded; to this is added a simple dressing made from pound sesame seeds, rice vinegar and ginger juice. An easy-to-make recipe at the Middleton Row eatery, this one’s a great pick if you want a simple, healthy salad. Rs 265-plus

 The Asian fine-dine den on Park Street keeps it simple and classy with this fresh and healthy raw papaya salad with a soy and chilli-infused dressing. It’s crunchy, with just the right amount of heat from the sliced chillies. Rs 350-plus
Thai Chicken and Water Chestnut Salad @ Mamagoto
Chicken chunks along with diced water chestnuts are coated in a Thai-style coconut, kaffir lime, red chilli paste, soy sauce, jaggery, garlic and lemon juice-based dressing. Full of flavours, this salad at the Park Street address is a meal in itself. Rs 449-plus

A non-vegetarian’s delight, this salad has the benefits of mixed greens and avocados paired with smoked bacon, boiled egg, red onions and chopped tomatoes in a gooey mixed-cheese dressing. This could be your next all-season fave, available at the Park Street pub. Rs 435-plus
Fresh Italian Prawn Salad @ Eat Good Food
Grilled prawns, lettuce, zucchini, black olives and tomatoes are doused in a warm, flavourful garlic dressing to make this a yummy bite. Available at the restaurant in the lane diagonally opposite Quest mall. Rs 275-plus
Insalata Di Arugula E Noce, Pere Con Parmigiano @ Serafina
The Italian eatery at Quest mall serves a nice vegetarian salad that has a variety of textures — from the smoothness of cherry tomatoes and pear, to the crunch of honey-tossed walnuts, the melt-in-the-mouth feel of the Parmesan shavings to the freshness of the arugula leaves — all wrapped up in a white balsamic dressing. Rs 420-plus
Watermelon Salad with Fresh Feta Cheese @ The Grid
The Topsia pub gives an interesting twist to this classic salad. Watermelon chunks are marinated in fresh lemon juice, olive oil and honey. Right before being served, each chunk is topped with fresh feta cheese, rocket leaves and parsley and a tube of honey-balsamic dressing. Rs 294-plus

Green Bowl @ Piccadilly Square
Gluten-free and vegan, this salad incorporates a variety of greens — Romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce and rocket leaves — along with a balsamic vinaigrette and toasted melon seeds, and some dried cranberries for sweetness. Available at both the Lansdowne and Dalhousie outlets. Rs 190-plus
Bespoke Fruit Bowl @ Sly Fox
Check out this healthy bowl at the Sector V chill zone, which has hung yogurt, nuts, honey drizzle granola and fruits such as kiwi, pomegranate, chopped apples and strawberries. Great for those on a weight watch. Rs 315-plus
