Whether it is her skin or her life in general, actress Taapsee Pannu believes in keeping it squeaky clean. A chat with the Pink star, who is the face of Bajaj Nomarks. 

With so much exposure to harsh lights and too much make-up on your face for long hours, what’s your tip for a glowing skin?

These factors do lead to skin stress but I try and take good care of my skin with natural and organic products. My go-to skincare solution is Nomarks Ayurvedic anti-marks cream, which helps prevent marks and takes care of skin stress.

Did you have a dream-skin phase in your life?

I have never really had a bad skin phase in life, thanks to my good genes!

When did you feel most skin-challenged?

My job involves continuous exposure to pollution, dirt, dust and late-nights, which leads to skin stress. But it is a part and parcel of my profession.

Did you ever follow a rigorous skincare routine?

I am blessed with low-maintenance skin. Also, I am a strong believer in the use of natural products, so I try and follow an extremely organic, natural skincare regimen. 

What does that involve? 

My skincare regimen is based on two things — minimalism and simplicity. I make sure I take preventive action for problems like marks. 

What from your kitchen goes on your face?

Tomato peel! It is the best thing for tan removal, and tan is something that I battle with a lot due to hectic outdoor schedules.

What is the one skincare tip from your mother that will always stay with you?

My mother’s one go-to skincare mantra that has stayed with me over the years is to use Ayurvedic or natural products for your skin. I avoid applying any harsh products.

What is your go-to skincare ritual when you are hard-pressed for time?

When I am hard-pressed for time, it is usually cleansing and scrubbing. I also use face packs at home and ensure that I keep my skin moisturised at all times.
