Hindusthan Club celebrated women power at their Sarat Bose Road address earlier this month with Ananya Award, felicitating 17 women from the families of the club members for their contribution in fields like fashion designing, social service, literature, health and fitness, and entrepreneurship.

The recipients were Aditi Khemka Damani, Charvee Jain, Jyoti Jain, Khyati Majithia, Kiran and Shruti Dhanuka, Jyoti Shroff, Mehuli Bhaven Kamdar, Nandani Kanoria, Nivedita Agarwal, Pratima Tolia, Pratibha Kothari, Subha Churiwal, Sweta Khemka, Stuti Shah, Sneh Choudhury and Tanushree Shah. Marathon runner Anjali Saraogi, Sahitya Akademi Award winner Alka Saraogi and mountaineer Chetna Sahoo were among the award-givers who also shared their inspirational stories. 

“This is the first time our club has organised such an event. There’s a great deal of enthusiasm among the awardees and members,” said club president Shiv Kumar Lohia.
