On weekends, my first priority is getting out of the city. I love to head out of Bangalore for the weekend, go somewhere that?s close enough but not too close. And I have the perfect weekend getaway for that ? my little coffee plantation in Coorg where I have a farmhouse and some acres of coffee land. The ultimate relaxation for me is to drive down to Coorg and spend two entire days in the restful surroundings of my favourite place on earth.

When in Coorg, I try and catch up on the work for my plantation, which gets neglected due to the pressures of my event management work. I let myself go completely rustic, laze around the farmhouse, do some cooking and take long, relaxing walks. The beauty of the Coorgi country is enough to bring peace to the most tortured soul, and I come back refreshed and rejuvenated each time.

On those occasions when I can?t make it to my farm, I like to stay at home as much as possible. Since my work entails spending a lot of time arranging and attending parties and other social dos, they have lost their charm for me. So going out on weekends holds no special attraction for me. I?m basically a pretty lazy person and I would rather spend the whole of Sunday morning in bed, and have a completely laidback weekend.
