In April last year, I visited the US for the first time. And it was during that trip that I caught a glimpse of a car that really caught my fancy. The vehicle streaking down the highway was a BMW Jeep and something about it just got me hooked. I’m a big fan of SUVs, and the BMW Jeep fits the bill perfectly. Not only is it a great looking car, it also comes packing a solid engine. No surprises there, as BMW is famed for its superior car technology. If I were to buy a BMW Jeep, I’d get one in basic black.

While the BMW Jeep is yet to make it to Indian shores, the one car here that I really like is the Chevrolet Tavera — again, an SUV. The reason why the Tavera scores points in my book as compared to other SUVs like the Scorpio, Sumo and Innova, is that while these look a bit too aggresive, the Tavera sports a certain subtle machismo. Also, let’s not forget, it is a very powerful car too.
