Background matters
Political dynasty is beneficial because people who are part of a political family tend to have a proper background and are most likely to be well-versed in politics. They would know how to tackle problems because they have probably seen their relatives doing it. Knowing what to do when leading people is a huge factor and this actually helps in becoming a great leader.

Long innings
Long-term plans or goals can be met with the help of political dynasties. When a government official plans something that could take a lot of time to establish, many people will not stand by those plans because someone else would just replace that official and then the plans will go awry. But with political dynasties, it is ensured that those plans will come to fruitation as it will be supported from generation to generation of political dynasties.

Good seed
The future is uncertain, it’s either good seed or bad seed. A good leader is not made, he or she is moulded. If an individual is born to parents who are politicians, there is a greater tendency that he or she will be a good leader. For me, it’s all about the training, a good tree will bear good seed. We, as voters, have the power to elect and select these “good trees” to lead us to success.

Citizens’ choice
It is us citizens who give birth to political dynasties. There will be no political dynasty if we know what is the right thing to do and who is the right one to vote for. If themembers of a political family are the right ones to choose, the capable ones, then we will vote for them. The citizens of India have the right to choose their leader.

Breeds corruption
Political dynasties give corrupt officials the opportunity to promote their relatives, who may also turn out to be corrupt! We cannot allow political dynasties in India.

Danger in monopoly
Political dynasties breed corruption. Families protect one another, which therefore protects corrupt practices. As in business, monopoly in politics, too, is very dangerous and detrimental. No one family should take hold over an entire province or city. Genuine opposition should always be present.

Earn leadership
Political leadership should be earned, not inherited. Political dynasty is often accompanied by picturesque formalities, steeped in custom and tradition, but the root of it is the inherited power which recipients may or may not be able to use responsibly. Royal dynasties are great but politically they are a weakness.

Give others a chance
Political dynasty is very likely to form a dictatorship. Also, this concept of dynasties does not let others — more capable people — come to the limelight because it is already decided that a family member, usually the son of the person ruling, will be the next head of government. I’m not saying they are always a failure but the chances of that is very great. Finally, I would like to say a very common thing — this type of government will encourage corruption.
