Family day out at Mama Mia!

Mama Mia!, the popular gelato parlour chain with multiple outlets in the city, has expanded their menu to become full-fledged cafes at two of their addresses — in Ballygunge and New Alipore. From toasties and fries to tea and coffee and of course, their ice creams, the menu is much wider now.

Fitness trainer Neeraj Surana and Jessica Gomes Surana took their kids, Vivaan and Kaira, out to the Mama Mia! cafe on Ballygunge Circular Road. “We go to the New Alipore branch of Mama Mia! very often and we love their strawberry ice cream. This new menu is quite suitable for lunch. I really liked the combination of the Olive and Cheesy Toasty with the Spicy Fries and the Cranberry and Apple Iced Tea. After you bite into the cheese and fries, the iced tea seems refreshing,” said Jessica. “I am not a big eater but the masala on the Spicy Fries was really good and the olives and cheese combination in the toast was very interesting,” said Neeraj.
