Bridesmaids
The scene where Annie (Kristen Wiig) throws a tantrum and ruins her best friend Lillian’s bridal shower is one of the funniest in the entire movie. When Annie’s rival, Helen, steals the idea of a Parisian-themed bridal shower from her and gifts Lillian a trip to Paris for the wedding, Annie is so outraged that she runs to the chocolate fountain and completely trashes it. Things finally end on a much better note between Helen, Annie and Lillian, which is an ending just as sweet as the fountain must have been!

Mad Men
Among the many amazing pitches in Mad Men, the one that Don Draper made for Hershey’s left us speechless. The way Don breaks down into his most honest and vulnerable self, recollecting incidents from his tough childhood and explaining how Hershey’s was an important part of it, makes it a favourite chocolate moment from TV.

Harry Potter series
We heart the scene in which Harry discovers Chocolate Frogs for the first time on the Hogwarts Express. Lupin offering him a bar of chocolate on the Hogwarts Express, exactly two years later, after a Dementor attack, instantly made him our favourite teacher. And we still smile with glee when we think of the scene in their sixth year where Romila Vane, a girl with a thing for Harry, gifts him some Cauldron Cakes spiked with love potion that Ron eats, mistaking them for a Christmas present! Watching Ron, infatuated with Romilda under the influence of the potion, gazing into the stars and thinking about her, is a treat for the eyes!

Julie and Julia
The whole movie is a foodie’s delight but the scene in which Julie (Amy Adams) makes a chocolate cream pie after a terrible day resonated with us the most. Julie says that what she loves the most about cooking is the certainty: that if she comes home from a bad day and adds “egg yolks to chocolate and sugar and milk”, it will thicken and make for a delicious pie. This comfort of certainity is exactly what we crave.

Sex and the City
None of us can forget the scene where Miranda is seen eating cake from a garbage can. She was overcome with an uncontrollable chocolate addiction that started with a chocolate eclair. In an attempt to control it, she dumped her homemade chocolate cake into the bin, only to return to eating straight from it. As gross as this may sound, we totally get the struggles of a chocoholic.

The Simpsons
Wouldn’t you just love it if you woke up to see everything in the world was made of chocolate! Well, this is exactly how Homer imagines “the Land of Chocolate” and after watching him dance around in the world of chocolate, we wish we, too, could travel to a land where everything was made of chocolate and everything in it was as tempting!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
When it comes to movies related to chocolate, the most obvious one is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. To be able to see the chocolate factory, complete with a chocolate river and a chocolate fountain, like we had imagined while reading the book right in front of our eyes was simply magical. We don’t really blame the kids for getting as excited and greedy as they were, especially Augustus Gloop! Imagine being thrown in front of a chocolate river and not wanting a lick! We so envy Charlie Bucket’s change in fortune in the end!

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Here we see little Elliott trying his best to make friends with E.T. and he uses one of Hershey’s most famous products for this, Reese’s Pieces. He goes out to the spot where he first saw E.T. and throws some candy around, which E.T. finds and brings back to Elliott while he’s sleeping. To lure E.T. into his room Elliott then places a trail of these candies and E.T. follows him all the way. It is such an adorable thing to watch kids find new and different ways to make friends, which is as simple as sharing chocolates.

Chocolat
A chocoholic’s fantasy, pretty much every scene from this movie tickles our taste buds, especially the one where Roux (Johnny Depp) walks into Vianne Rocher’s (Juliette Binoche) chocolate shop and tastes a chocolate. Roux casually licking his fingers as Vianne tries to guess his favourite chocolate is the perfect way to give us a taste of the chemistry that would unfold between the two. Oh, and did we mention how hard it is to determine if Johnny Depp is more delicious or the chocolates?

Forrest Gump
We will always remember the scene where Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) offers the nice lady on the bench a box of chocolates quoting his mom, “My mama always said, life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” It taught us that we might not always get what we want in life but we must always be optimistic.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
While Terry is one of our fave characters, his past addiction to food often catches up with him. In one episode, Boyle offers him some organic chocolates. Hesitant at first due to his strict diet, just one is enough to break the fitness freak’s resolution. Over the course of the episode, Terry bloats up like a balloon from his super fit self and shows almost withdrawal-like symptoms when he doesn’t get the chocolates!

Friends
When Monica is out of work, she starts creating sweets made of Mockolate. She pretends to love it but finds it disgusting. We love the scene in which her boss tells her that he hopes she didn’t have too much of it and asking her if it burns when she pees! Even better is the time when Monica makes candies for her neighbours who like them so much that they form a mob outside Monica and Chandler’s apartment in which Joey joins too!
