AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN’S CANNES 2018 SCORECARD
In her 17th year on the Cannes red carpet, L’Oreal Paris brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted for a butterfly-inspired sequinned Michael Cinco gown with a plunging neckline as one of her main looks for Day One. The innovative trail with bold strokes of purple and blue did look like a pair of butterfly wings, jazzed up with centre-parted hair and a red mouth.

The last time Ash opted for a Rami Kadi couture creation at Cannes, she had created quite the buzz. Reason? Those purple lips! This time the 44-year-old actress chose a spangly ivory number by the same designer that gave us a deja vu of Priyanka Chopra’s Ralph & Russo outfit at Oscar 2017. She went for dramatic eyes, but the overall look was too safe. What we loved was her striking gelled bun.

Midnight blue wrap skirt, crisp white shirt, a hint of pop via the tangerine sequinned jacket. Aishwarya looked sharp in this Manish Arora outfit. Winged eyes and coral lips — thanks to L’Oreal’s 318 Bare Attraction liquid lipstick — were just the right touches.
