Styles, smiles and a heavy dose of shopping... Araaish, in association with t2, at Taj Bengal on February 28 was a gala affair. With designers such as Vikram Phadnis and Seema Khan displaying their pret lines, the fashion game was strong. t2 stepped right in as the madness peaked and here’s getting you the action.

“My collection is apt for the season, it’s got bridals and lots of glamour. Statement pieces, lots of emeralds, rubies and coloured diamonds along with different types of gold. My pick from this collection is this huge emerald necklace (in picture) that will look good with Indian wear as well as a simple jeans and white shirt,” said Queenie Singh.  

For Vikram Phadnis, Araaish was a busy day. “The whole Calcutta vibe has been amazing! We have already received orders in different shapes and sizes and the people have lapped up our shararas, which seem to be a big hit today,” smiled the Mumbai-based designer whose pret collection at Araaish was a blend of pastel shades with light embroidery.
