Rani Mukerji was the Pride of Bengal. “The award means a lot to me, especially the term Pride of Bengal, as it’s going to make my mother really happy. I am proud of being a Bengali, and in fact I have been trying to convert my Punjabi husband into one too. He already eats maachhbhaat, even though he is yet to get to the level of eating ilish with his hands and removing the bones himself. My daughter (Adira) has put me on a new journey,” smiled the Hichki actress.

This is a special award for me because I often have to answer too many questions about what I do and why I do so many things. This award feels like a hug, a pat on the back, it says that everything is just fine, just be yourself,” said Nandita, who won You Inspire — Ingenuity.
