Calcutta, May 21: City-based real estate developer Eden City is planning to complete its expansion at Maheshtala (South 24 Parganas) and a project at Bonhooghly (North 24 Parganas) in the next five years.
The firm may look for support to complete its Rs 1,700-crore expansion at Maheshtala, said Biswadeep Gupta, vice-president (marketing) of Eden City.
Eden City has tied up with UK-based fund manager F&C REIT Asset Management.
“The expansion at Maheshtala would be a mixed use project to include a school, hospital and shopping complex. It will involve about Rs 1,200 crore investment,” said Gupta.
“The Bonhooghly project, which is under the (Bengal government’s) refugee relief and rehabilitation programme, will involve an investment of about Rs 450-500 crore. It will cater to about 800 families that will be displaced.”
