The gift shops, hotels and restaurants are painted in red marking the start of the Valentine's Week. The restaurants have left no stone unturned to woo the lovebirds with delicacies.
The Yellow Chilli, a popular restaurant near Dakbungalow roundabout, will spoil the couples for choice.
'We have surprise gifts for couples for the love week. We also have special menu for Valentine's Day for couples,' said Rupa, the owner of the restaurant. From candlelight dinner to live music, the Valentine's Week will be special treat for those in love.
'We have arranged candle-light dinners, along with live music for couples. They can even dedicate songs to their beloved,' said Ashish Kumar Singh, the manager of The Bridge restaurant.
The gift shops across the city are flooded with items that can melt hearts. From small teddy bears to heart pillows, couples have choices galore.
'We have more than 200 gifts in our shop. The roses, hearts and teddies are in great demand. The customised musical photo frames, open hearts, musical teddy and chocolates are special attraction this year. Red is the first choice of the couple,' said Sonu, the manager of Archies on Boring Road.
If your parents are aware of V-Day and you cannot dare a date with your partner on Valentine's Day, Bollywood Treats, the restaurant of Maurya Hotel, has a bash waiting on February 13.
'We have organised a bash a day before Valentine's Day. There are many couples, who can't date on V-Day just because of the fear of getting caught by their parents. We have come up with a special menu, along with surprise gifts, for couples,' said Rakesh, the manager of Bollywood Treats.
Couples, on the other hand, are ready to welcome the Valentine's Week with affection. Valentine's Day 'on a Saturday' has added glee to the celebration.
'I have planned my Valentine's Week. I have got gifts for my girlfriend and have planned a surprise trip for her,' said Kaniska Mathur, an engineer.

There are two categories of entry fee - with and without buffet. Stag entry with buffet is Rs 1,800, while without buffet will cost Rs 1,000. Couple entry with buffet is Rs 2,700, while without buffet will cost Rs 1,500.
