“I recently got calls on my cellphone from some people who identified themselves as CPI(Maoist) members. They threatened to kill me,” said Singh, who lodged an FIR at Saraiya police station on Sunday night.

Deputy superintendent of police (west) Anuj Kumar, who is investigating the case, said: “Printouts of the call details on the MLA’s cellphone are being procured so that we can track down the people who are threatening him.”
