Patna, March 2: Six criminals were arrested and five 9mm pistols were seized during a raid at an abandoned house under Sasaram Town police station in Rohtas district on Wednesday.

Rohtas superintendent of police Manu Maharaj said: “Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid at a house located near Shaheed Chandan Mazar and took six persons in custody.”

The police recovered five 9mm pistols, seven magazines, four cellphones and three wallets from their possession.

“The criminals were wanted in many cases of loot and dacoity in Rohtas,” said the superintendent of police.
