Former MP from Arunachal Pradesh RK Khrimey addresses a news meet at Vishwa Samvad Kendra on Tuesday. At the event organised by Sanskar Bharati, the former parliamentarian said there was a need to maximise the number of cultural exchanges across the country in order to fight racism. Condemning the death of Nido Tania in New Delhi, he said: “I had to face racism in Delhi University in the 1970s. It is ironical that things have not changed even after 40 years.” Khrimey was in Bihar as a special invitee at a cultural programme. Text by Smita Kumar, picture by Nagendra Kumar Singh |
