The power consumers would be able to apply for load enhancement voluntarily till March 31 next year.

North Bihar and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd on Tuesday announced the extension of the Voluntary Disclosure of Load Scheme till March 31, 2014. The latter supplies power in Patna.

The scheme was initially offered from July 1 to November 30. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, the power distribution company’s managing director, said the consumers could self-assess power consumption and submit a declaration form with the requisite fee under the plan. Thereafter, the load would be enhanced automatically.
