About 2,000 sportspersons from other states and the central organisations are expected to take part in volleyball, basketball, handball and kabaddi competitions. “The purpose of the meeting is to seek suggestions on improving the condition of the sportspersons in the state and to bring Bihar in the limelight on sports arena,” Raveendra said.
The website, www.aipgbihar.org.in, was launched by the DGP on November 22, 2011. The official logo of the event — dolphin — was released on December 16, 2011.
