Environmentalist Mehta Nagendra Singh (centre) plants a sapling with (left to right) Patna Golf Club secretary Arvind Singh, Patna High Court Justice Samarendra Pratap Singh and retired Indian Forest Service official Prem Sharan on the club premises on Sunday to celebrate Vanmahotsav (forest festival) in association with the Patna forest division. The division has adopted the club under its scheme "Har Parisar, Hara Parisar (every campus, green campus)" to plant saplings and nurture them. Justice Singh, the president of the club, presided over the function which was also attended by Justice Ajay Tripathi, director-general (vigilance) Ravinder Kumar, principal secretary of the cabinet secretariat department Brijesh Mehrotra, principal chief conservator of forests SS Choudhary, divisional forest officer (Patna) Mihir Jha and divisional railway manager RK Jha among others.
