Exam fraud

Patna: Subhash Kumar, Amit Kumar and Mukesh Kumar, residents of Nalanda, East Champaran and Nawada districts respectively, were arrested on Sunday from three banking service examination centres under Kadamkaun police station on charges of impersonation.

Fertiliser haul

Chhapra: Saran police seized a truck with 100 bags of fertilisers, which was being transported from Chhapra for black-marketeering, from Doriganj on Sunday. The truck driver has been arrested.

Chhapra: Public representatives visited Dalit basti in Moajjampur village under Doriganj police station on Sunday to address the year-long demands of electricity and employment opportunities of the residents.

Vehicle gang

Gopalganj: An inter-state gang, including its kingpin, who used to steal two-wheelers and four-wheelers were arrested from a wine shop based on a tip-off on Sunday.

BJP rally

Patna: State BJP general secretary Mangal Pandey on Sunday said the party would organise a rally, Nishad Mahapanchayat, for the fisherman community in Darbhanga district on December 18. He expected a turnout of over a lakh at the rally.
