Gaya: Three people were killed on Monday when the SUV they were travelling in hit a road divider and overturned near Jaigir Mor under Barachatti police station in the district. n another incident, two youths on a motorcycle died after being hit by a truck on the Bypass Road near Naili village.

Yatra date

Patna: Date of chief minister Nitish Kumar’s visit to Kishanganj for Seva Yatra would be changed to ensure that it does not coincide with the civic polls on May 17.

Gaya: More than 5,000 people formed a 15km-long human chain on Monday under the banner of Central University of Bihar Struggling Committee, demanding setting up the Central University of Bihar at Gaya.

Raid

Bettiah: Police seized 105kg of contraband and nabbed at least six persons during a raid on Sunday night.
