Patna: A PIL has been filed in the high court seeking direction to the state government for devolution of financial and administrative powers to the three-tier panchayati raj institutions (PRIs).dvocate M.P. Gupta, counsel for Mukteshwar Baitha, the petitioner, submitted that two elections have been held in the past decade for PRIs but the government has not devolved financial and administrative powers. Patna: Road construction department minister Nand Kishore Yadav and principal secretary Pratyaya Amrit went to Delhi on Monday to take part in a national conference on public private partnership in national highways. The Prime Minister would inaugurate the conference in which ministers and senior officials of all states are taking part. Chhapra: The excise department on Monday unearthed a mini liquor factory at Daudpur and arrested one person. Excise sub-inspector Samarjit Singh said 200 litres of liquor, gas cylinder, 200kg wrappers, a pouch-making machine, 11 drums and 35 jerry cans were also seized.
