Patna, Aug. 3: Around Rs 6.60 lakh was collected as fine from vehicles with pollution levels higher than the permissible limit during the month-and-a-half drive initiated by the state transport commissioner and Patna divisional commissioner, K.K. Upadhyaya, deputy director of information and public relations department said.uring the drive, conducted between June 24 and August 2, some 8,800 vehicles were tested of which 540 were found to be emitting pollution beyond permissible limit.
