Patna, Sept. 23: The Ranitalab police today claimed to have cracked the rape and murder of a Class VIII student of a government school whose half-naked body was recovered from a field on the outskirts of Dhana village on August 5.atna senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj said the prime accused Chandan Kumar was arrested, while his aide was absconding. Patna: An organisation of panchayat heads (mukhiyas) in the state on Monday iterated its demand of devolution of powers to the gram sabha. Panchayat heads would meet in Patna on September 30 to take part in a rally in favour of their demands.
