Patna, Dec. 30: Police today busted a gang of three persons involved in fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 48,345 from the bank account of NRI Moti Irdawali, a resident of New Zealand. he gang used to withdraw money by accessing the secret PIN code of the customer.

Rights call

Patna: Society for disability and rehabilitation studies has urged the mainstream political parties to ensure due share of rights or entitlements to the persons with disabilities.

Maoist attack

Gopalganj (PTI): Maoists have torched 11 vehicles of a construction company at Sattar Ghat locality in Gopalganj district. The Maoists, numbering between 25 and 30, raided the workshop of a private construction company on Sunday night and set on fire six weighing system machines, an earth mover and four other vehicles. Police said the rebels made the attack over non-payment of levy.

Sex racket

Patna: Police on Monday unearthed a sex racket. Twelve people, including the kingpin, were arrested during a raid on a cyber café under the jurisdiction of Pirbahore police station.
