Building orders

Patna: A high court division bench on Thursday directed Patna Municipal Corporation to dispose of within a month all cases of multi-storied building violations pending with the civic body. he court also directed the urban development and housing department and the Patna Municipal Corporation to notify new building bylaws by October 8.

Cash stolen

Patna: Criminals stole a bag containing Rs 50,000 and a licensed weapon from the car of a contractor at Budhha Marg on Thursday afternoon.

Ration camp

Patna: The district administration would organise camps from July 5 to 15 to address the issue of anomalies in the distribution of ration cards.

Varsity status

Patna: Sir Ganesh Dutt Vichar Manch has urged the Centre to accord central university status to Patna University.
