New home for trees

Volunteers led by Rossy Alexandra, an American who is a student of the Universidad Zamorano in Honduras , and residents of Ashiana-Digha road transplanted five three-year-old and 10ft tall kachnar (camel's foot) trees from the campus of non-government organisation Tarumitra to Ashiana-Digha road on Thursday.

Patna: Volunteers led by Rossy Alexandra, an American who is a student of the Universidad Zamorano in Honduras , and residents of Ashiana-Digha road transplanted five three-year-old and 10ft tall kachnar (camel's foot) trees from the campus of non-government organisation Tarumitra to Ashiana-Digha road on Thursday.

While two trees were transplanted beside the petrol pump on the Ashiana-Digha road, two trees were relocated in front of the Digha Private Industrial Training Institute. One tree was planted in Kaushalya Colony.
