Patna Women's College's department of computer application organised a guest lecture on "New era in network: a bright career for women" last Thursday to provide students an opportunity to explore job prospects in the networking field.

Bhawna Sinha, head of department, welcomed guest speaker Sanjay Prakash, the regional head of Tata Consultancy Services.

The girls were given useful tips to crack networking interviews and at the end of the lecture, Prakash fielded questions from the students.

"Women have succeeded in every field, but it is high time for them to excel in the networking and IT field," said second-year student Shreya. "The session went really well. I learned it is not difficult to crack the exam, the hardest thing is to face the interview and have a good knowledge about cloud computing and mechanical language."
