Muzaffarpur, Feb. 3: Chief minister Nitish Kumar’s war against corruption received support from his predecessor, former chief minister Jagannath Mishra, who today lauded Nitish and said there was need to create a people’s movement to fight corruption.
In town to inaugurate the statue of former railway minister Lalit Narayan Mishra, on the premises of Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute of Business Management, Mishra said the Right to Service Act is a milestone in checking the carelessness of officials and bureaucrats. The former chief minister also asked social activists who work for human rights to keep tabs on corrupt officials.
