Patna, July 14: Those of you who wish to experience the magic of Hogwarts in 3D this weekend but are put off by the thought of long queues at cinemas, here is a good news. You can book your seat online at Regent for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, which releases tomorrow.

Just log on to www.bookmyshow.com, follow the instructions and abracadabra… you will have a seat. The online facility is available only for Regent at present. Mona, too, will have it soon.

For the uninitiated, Hogwarts is the school of witchcraft and wizardry, which Harry and his friends attend. But if you are not too taken in with Quidditch and the fall of Voldemort, you could also catch the third instalment of the galactic warfare in Transformers 3 or get goose bumps with Murder 2. Tickets for all these movies are available at the website.

Shailendra Kumar, the president-elect of Rotary Patna Mid Town, said: “I am really excited about the new facility to book tickets online. It will help save a lot of time. We will also be spared the trouble of standing in long queues to buy tickets.”

He added: “No one wants to go to a cinema alone. Earlier, there was a lot of trouble in buying tickets for your group of friends. Now, with the new facility, we can do it easily, online.”

Suman Singh, the owner of Regent, said: “People can now book tickets online to watch movies here. The facility was started on July 13.”

A source said: “Those who avail this facility would be able to book the tickets easily from home. Payments can be made using credit or debit cards. Online tickets will be available a week before the show, from Friday through Thursday. A person can book up to 10 tickets at a time.”

People from Patna now settled in metros are also upbeat about the new development. They feel that entertainment in their native town would now be an experience with a difference. Nilabh Ranjan, who is now settled in Delhi, said: “It is great to hear this. Whenever I go to Patna, I book movie tickets days ahead so that I can go to the cinema with my friends. We are often apprehensive that we will not get tickets for the movie we want to watch. Now we will be able to get tickets easily.”

He added that the launch of the facility for Regent is a good idea as the cinema is a popular destination for movie buffs.
