Vegetarian delights

Those observing Navratri fast and are having vegetarian food will not be deprived of their gastronomic delights. Rather, this Navratri they will be spoilt for choices. Yellow Chilli has planned new menus and special dishes much to the pleasure of the vegetarians. From sauté mix vegetable to aloo jeera, the list is endless. The appetiser, aloo jeera, is a perfect mix of spices, butter and cashew. Sahi paneer, a recipe from the royal kitchen is a must have. The dish is made in white gravy and less spicy.

On platter

From aloo nazakat to mix fruit raita, the menu has lip-smacking items for every section. Diwani handi, a dish of spinach, paneer and cheese, is a treat to stomach. Paneer makhni, cooked in tomato puree, kasoori methi, honey and garam masala is delicious.

Sweet talk

Those with a sweet tooth can gorge on traditional sweet dishes like rashmalai and gulab-e-gulkand.

Since non-vegetarian items will be cooked during the festive season, we have made a separate segment in the kitchen to prepare the vegetarian food. Keeping in mind the fact that many people eat vegetarian during Navratri, the dishes are prepared without onion and garlic,' said Quazi, owner of the restaurant.
