Muzaffarpur, Dec. 15: The state government has approved the proposal of the district administration to construct two flyovers here for better traffic flow.

District magistrate Anupam Kumar said the construction work of the new flyovers would start in 2015. According to sources, one flyover would be built from Mahesh Babu Chowk to Prabhat Cinema Road at Sahu Pokhar site and another from Tower Chowk to Harisabha Road en route to Kalyani Chowk.

The district administration would send the final plan to the urban development department within a week. The district magistrate said more than Rs 300 crore would be required to construct the flyovers. The space beneath them would be used for parking.
